LIMITED EDITION HAND CRAFTED HARDWOOD HANDLES

These signature Gerald Rensen woodturning Handles have been hand turned from rare Australian hardwoods and fitted with JE QuickChange Tool-Holders. The end of each Handle features a brass bush with a centralised pilot hole, allowing the handles to be reduced if necessary or repolished after wear. Simply turn a 40 degree cone as a drive centre and place between revolving centre in tail stock. These rare handles beautifully showcase the natural beauties of the selected Hardwoods. The holes/knotts commonly found within the Red Lancewood have been resin filled and polished to achieve a smooth continuous feel while giving the handles a feature look.

Dead Finnish AKA Red Lancewood (Archidendropsis Basaltica)

5/8″ – Fitted with JE 5/8″ QuickChange Tool Holder, the handle is 500mm long and 33.5mm (1.32″) in Diameter through the centre.

1/2″ – Fitted with a JE 1/2″ QuickChange Tool Holder, the handle is 535mm long and is 34.5mm (1.36″) in diameter through the centre

Gidyee AKA Stinking Wattle (Acacia Cambagel)

1/2″ – Fitted with a JE 1/2″ QuickChange Tool Holder, this handle is 34.5 mm (1.36″) diameter through the center and 540mm long
